Thailand:
Day UNO: For the first time in my life, i had rice for breakfeast. Then we met up with Enoch the missionary there who is the leader of campus crusades there in Bangkok. We met them and we had pizza. This pizza was like any other pizza I have had: seafood pizza: with shrimp, crab and squid on it. Also we went on this crazy boat ride and saw around bangkok, the kids are precious in thailand!

Day DOSE: - Rice and noodles for breakfast, pretty much had rice every day after this I had rice for breakfast, lunch and dinner which is not fun after 12 days. Tried very unusual looking fruits, there was this one fruit that was lik a red fruit shaped in a ball and had spiky thorns come out of it...weird. Gave Thai's warheads, and watched their lovely faces
Enoch eating a warhead:

Then we flew to Chiang Mai and met the campus crusade that was working over in that area. I had lots of fun, shopping was very cheap! I got shirts there for about three bucks and meals there for about twenty five CENTS! They had a wonderful night market. Oh and during when I got a little sick, I discovered the "squatee potty" In Chaing Mai there was barely any western or american toilets so i discovered the "squatee potties" soo basically you don't sit on them you squat and aim..beautiful. In one gas station there was no toilet paper but a little squares of colored newspapers tied in a ring of string... that was the toilet paper... soo ya that is deffinately a new experience for me. But the best thing about going to Chaing Mai was packing rice and distributing it to the families who lost everything in the mudslide that happened a few weeks ago.

imagine, you are from a different country, a mudslide destroys your house and most of your belongings, you feel devastated and helpless, and then people from a different country come and give you food. Maybe giving rice is just a little thing, but whenever I handed a bag of rice to a family, their faces lit up, and I was filled with God's joy.
I was also blessed with the amazing opportunity of being able to see some of God's amazing and talented creatures: Elephants!

]

Elephants Can play soccer but also....

paint a beautiful picture! gahhh is that not AMAZINGG!

lastly ^ the most common thing to do with an elephant is ride on it's back! haha
So then we left Chiang Mai , and stayed a night in Bangkok and packed for Ranong. It was 7 hours to Ranong and we deffinately drove in style

MERCEDES BUS! haha
When we got there we went on a boat type thing... little did we know we were going to have to be caught in a rain storm for two hours and eventually we had to turn back. So that we couldn't stay on the island and somehow ended up in a very nice hotel, (guess it was God's will) Before the storm began though, we stopped at this one part of the island, and it was very hard to see. It was an area where the tsunami had hit, all the cities trash washes up on there shore leaving glass and all this debri on their shoreline, and none of them have shoes. The village was small and was mostly in ruins, many kids walked around naked and most all kids were not fully clothed, even some adult stand around in their under garments because they have lost mostly everything from the tsunami. Enoch and his staff in the campus crusades are helping out the churches in that area to minister to them and try to give them what they need. Unfortunately most of them are Buddhist and are in darkness.
The next day we went to a village that was not as heartbreaking but still left a mark on us, oh man the kids were precious

Enoch and kids in the village with stickers on their faces!
After that we went to this other part of the island , where we had lunch there, it was soo pretty , right by the ocean:

Well see, my dad has bapitized both my sisters, Lauren went on a mission trip with my dad and was baptized in the amazon river, Lyndsay went on a mission trip with my dad and was baptized in the Nile, soo it was time for me to get baptized, I got bapitized in the Andeaman sea or something which is part of the Indian Ocean. Enoch and my dad baptized me. If was a wonderful experience, and I just felt renewed and now more eager to follow God.

So it was amazing.. after that our boat got stuck and lynn broke her ankle. It was obvious that spritual warfare was going on, satan didn't wanted to ruin our joy, but he didn't. By God's strength we were able to push the boat out of the water, and were able to care for Lynn as best as we could.
We went back to bangkok that night, and went to the JJ market the next day! It was amazing! soo much cute stuff and SOO CHEAPP! I got shirts there for three bucks and it was amazing! I wish I got more time there! Then we went to a more expensive mall thing, we got starbucks! It was pretty expensive though . But Mcdonalds is what caught our eye

The next day was our last day in thailand, and also was a day to celebrate the kings , he has been a king for 60 years! So we all wore yellow, long live the king!

Mica, Korn, Duum, Poi,Mam, Me, Oh and Suhweet! with our yellow shirts!

Mica, Mam, and me!
...Then we went to the kings celebration... it was a lot of fun...free food, dancing and fun! sounds like an advertisement haha.

Then we flew 5 hours to Japan, and lucky for me, the plane was uncrowded and I got a whole run of three seats to myself. When we arrived in Osaka, Japan we went on this stupid "aqua marine" boat that showed us around the city , it was LAME , me and mica fell asleep. We also visited this castle that had a museum in it....LAME, but we did have some moments...
..the castles rocks?

eww who would drink that?

Would MICA?!!!!
haha no she didn't by the way, the water is not sanitary! So Japan turned out be not as cool as we thought, but we did go to the old people town, so many old people and so many old people feeding the satanic pigeons. Another creepy / funny thing that happened is an old guy in a motorcycle gang and had a pony tail...eww sat in between me and mica put his arm around us and took a picture... gross, im traumatized for life.
On the way home from Japan, yup 13 hours, I was stuck between my dad and a 7 foot basket ball player. I watched failure to launch and ate, then slept, when i woke up it was 25 mins to landing...it was amazing!
So this trip was a little hard for me to cope with at first , we were staying in nice hotels, good food and not a lot of physical labor, like on a leadertrek trip. I was like what are we even doing for God. But I realized that sometimes God does not always want you to be focused all the time of how you should be slaving for him but that there should be time to recongnize what God has been doing throughout the earth, and to be able to see your brothers and sisters of Christ impact the kingdom. This trip was more of a vision trip, getting to see what the Campus Crusade staff has been doing in Thailand and to see the lifes that were being changed because of them. The campus crusade staff in Bangkok taught me so much just by the way they lived, they are extremely hospitable and loving people who are eager to serve God. In their job they don't get paid for what they do, they have to raise money! So they don't even get paid yet they are following God and willing to overcome anything that's thrown at them. These people have forever blessed my life and made such a huge mark on my heart. Please be praying for their ministry and that they would be able to bring many to Christ.
